Our purpose
An idea built around one simple purpose: making connections for those who may not know where to start.
Australia is a diverse country, with people, businesses, organisations and communities offering enormous knowledge, skills, services and opportunities. Finding the right person, the right organisation or the right business can still be difficult, particularly for people who are new to Australia or unfamiliar with the networks around them.
Our purpose is to connect Australian communities and businesses with the right people and the right opportunities, both nationally and internationally.
From Tank to Australia
1946
Akram Khan and Sons opens in Tank.
A small business in a remote town in the North-West of what would become Pakistan. It grew the only way a business could there: through relationships, trust and connections.
Three generations
Introductions made carefully. Promises kept.
The business passed through the family, and with it a way of working. A promise given was a promise kept.
A new country
A new country, the same gap.
Arriving in Australia, the family saw capable people held back not by a lack of opportunity, but by a lack of someone to introduce them to it.
Today
KAAM Networks.
Four programs under one banner, connecting Australian communities and businesses with the right people, nationally and internationally.
